Doctoral grads Yunyun Wu and Sarah Larocque will be recognized for excellence in the Class of 2021 during Convocation ceremonies Nov. 5.
Faculty and staff are invited to submit a note of congratulations for display during the Nov. 5 Fall Convocation.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Fall Convocation celebrations will be hosted virtually.
University of Windsor chancellor Mary Jo Haddad shared that although it is disappointing to not be celebrating in person this year, student achievements will be rightfully honoured via the virtual sessions.
“We look forward to commemorating this experience for our graduates safely and recognizing their tremendous accomplishments virtually” said Dr. Haddad.
Professors Dora Cavallo-Medved, Jasminka Kalajdzic, Victoria Paraschak, and Sigi Torinus will receive the alumni teaching award.
Nursing grad Grace McLeod is the recipient of the Governor General’s Silver Medal for the most outstanding undergraduate academic record in the class of 2021.
Katrina Bahnam received the President’s Medal for outstanding contribution to campus activities while maintaining a superior academic record.
More than 4,400 graduates will have their degrees conferred over 13 sessions of Convocation.
John-Paul Semaan follows his sisters Melanie and Anne as graduates of the Outstanding Scholars program.
