Fan loyalty progam to bring together Lancer family

A new interactive app will enable the Department of Athletics and Recreational Services to engage Lancer fans and reward them for their loyalty, says sports information co-ordinator Elisa Mitton.

Through the Lancer Loyalty app, fans accumulate points by turning out for varsity competitions, working out in fitness classes, participating in intramurals, and checking in on social media, as well as engaging with sponsors.

“The more users attend, the faster they accrue points,” says Mitton. “Once fans reach certain point levels, they can receive unique prizes and experiences.”

Users of the app will also receive push notifications on their mobile phones to remind them of upcoming events and promotions.

“The Lancer Loyalty program has allowed us to expand our rewards program significantly and is allowing us to connect with our fan base in a new way,” Mitton says.

It is open to all fans—students and alumni, faculty and staff, community members and parents. Download the Lancer Loyalty app directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Find more info at goLancers.ca.
