Seminar to offer advice on conducting business in China

The Centre for Enterprise and Law presents a seminar for people interested in business opportunities in China on Wednesday, February 29.

The seminar, “Doing Business in China,” runs 4 to 6 p.m. at the Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator, 720 Ouellette Avenue. It promises discussion of business practices, legal considerations and the personal experiences of three guest speakers:

  • Shaoye Dai, a law student who will begin articling in August 2012 in the China group of a national firm and worked as an in-house counsel for China Construction Bank;
  • Henry Lau, owner of Far East Pioneer Technology and the asset management company Henry Holdings Inc.; and
  • Tony Mao, an instructor at the Odette School of Business and founder of Huaye International Auto World, one of the first international automobile dealership chains in south China.
