UWindsor Welcome Week

Lancer Spirit
That's a wrap!
Welcome new Lancers! We hope you all enjoyed coming out to the events during Welcome Week, and that you carry that energy throughout the rest of your four years at our amazing campus. Thank you for choosing the University of Windsor!

Now that Welcome Week's over, you're probably wondering what now? Here are a couple of steps you can take next to carry on that energy you got from our orientation programs through the summer up to Welcome Week into the rest of the year
  • Get involved on campus - Be sure to check out the Clubs Fair happening in September to find out all the ways you can get involved on campus.
  • Poster sale - Need to cover up the spaces in your new dorm? Check out the poster sale in September to find the perfect piece to really make your new room feel like your home away from home.
  • Campus services - Take advantage of all the services you learnt about through Head Start and Welcome Week and take the opportunity to get familiar with them on campus.
  • Farmer's market - Our farmer's market will be coming to the CAW soon, so take advantage of all the fresh produce and support local Windsor farmers.
  • Make new friends - You were thrust onto a random team during Welcome Week and were able to make new friends and memories, but don't let it stop there! Put yourself out there and meet new people.

A big congratulations goes out to the winning team this year, Team Moose Tracks of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences! You guys were the first ever winners of the Faculty Showdown, and we just want to congratulate you guys on being the first team to get their names on the Lancer Shield, which will be hung up in our new lounge along with your picture to commemorate your victory.
